Earn continuing education credits while you learn! The AALNC National Educational Conference is the only conference for legal nurse consultants offering the opportunity to earn continuing education credits from multiple programs. To earn contact hours: an entire session must be attended to receive credit. The total number of contact hours awarded is determined by the number of sessions an individual completes.

Please note that previously, one contact hour has been equal to 50 minutes of educational content; however, as of January 1, 2007 the ANCC (American Nursing Credentialing Center) equates 60 minutes of educational content to one contact hour. A Continuing Education Self-Report Form to track contact hours earned will be provided to each participant in their registration bag in Pittsburgh.

Illinois Nurses Association
AALNC is an approved provider of continuing education by the Illinois Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. AALNC will again apply for continuing education hours for the 2010 conference through the INA. All sessions are approved for nursing contact hours from the INA unless otherwise noted.

Commission for Case Manager Certification
AALNC will apply for approval of continuing education hours from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC). All sessions are approved for nursing contact hours from the CCMC unless otherwise noted.

Legal Nurse Consultant Certified
These session include topic areas that can be applied toward LNCC certification renewal by contact hours. All sessions can be applied toward LNCC certification renewal unless otherwise noted.
