Experience Counts: Become an LNCC
The Legal Nurse Consultant Certified (LNCC) designation is the sign of an experienced LNC -- a designation that has to be earned through experience and demonstrated mastery of content. The LNCC program is the only LNC certification that is accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties and endorsed by AALNC, the industry's not-for-profit professional society.
The LNCC certification examination, sponsored by the American Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Board, will be held prior to the conference. The test date will be Tuesday, March 23.
Eligibility criteria for the examination:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the United States or its
territories, with a full and unrestricted license
- A minimum of five years of experience practicing as a registered nurse
at the time of application
- 2,000 hours legal nurse consulting experience within the past three
years at the time of application
The application postmark deadline will be announced shortly.
The certification exam will also be offered on another spring and fall date at sites nationwide.
The testing dates and application deadlines will be announced very shortly.
