Description: LNCs with abilities and knowledge of life care planning will be able to expand their services. Understanding what a life care plan is and the process of life care planning is the key to successfully expanding the LNC role.
Objectives:

  • Explain the difference between life care planning certifications, preparation, and methodology.
  • Describe the nurse life care planner's credentials and methodology.
  • Discuss rebuttals to opposing critiques of life care plans.
