Description: At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will understand the evidence-based guidelines and indications for performing a rectal exam, and the standards of care for assessment, diagnosis, and current treatments for diseases of the anal region using patient history, imaging findings, colonoscopy, evidenced based testing and drug therapies. The LNCs will be able to identify injuries and legal implications for delay in diagnosis or misinterpretation of findings in hemorrhoids, anal fistula, and rectal abscess.
