Description: Join legal nurse consultant and witness Jane Shufro for a Zoom webinar discussing failure to rescue (FTR) and understanding best practices in perioperative care. This webinar will help participants gain an enhanced understanding of current best practices within this area to better be able to identify specialty-specific guidelines and challenges in the outpatient setting. The webinar will enable LNCs to identify strategies the opposing counsel will use and how to recognize and prepare for them. By the end of the webinar participants will be able to define "failure to rescue", understand how to identify disadvantages associated with outpatient procedures, be able to list three common reasons for "failure to rescue", and identify resources for locating best practices and apply them to a medical legal review.
