Participation in this educational activity will enable the learner to analyze an electronic medical records system and utilize this knowledge and skill to provide excellent resources to their attorney-client.
After attending this session, participants will be able to use effective research methods for cases that LNCs work on and have a greater understanding of certain legal concepts such as Bill of Particulars, Frye hearing, and mitigating damages on the defense side.
Participants in this educational activity will provide the LNC with the knowledge to successfully evaluate cases involving various types of shock and apply that knowledge to determine whether all of the healthcare providers practiced within the standard of care that affected the outcome of the case.
Participants in this educational activity will be knowledgeable regarding the diagnostics and prevention of a recurrent stoke after an acute stoke or transient ischemic attack (TIA).
Participants in this educational activity will be knowledgeable regarding the standards of care for the evaluation and treatment decisions in the patient presenting to the Emergency Department with acute stroke.
