Participants will be knowledgeable in the standards of care for the evaluation and treatment decisions in the patient presenting to the Emergency Department with acute stroke, as well as, the diagnostics and prevention of a recurrent stroke after an acute stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA).
The purpose of this activity is to increase the participant’s knowledge and role of the LNC in three employment settings: risk management in a healthcare facility, Workers’ Compensation and defense insurance company.
