Clinical Issues for Litigation and a Mini-Mock Trial
This track will address some clinical issues for litigation and apply skills to a mock trial for expanding your LNC practice. Sessions include:

- Emergency Updates: Current Standards for Essential ER Management of PE, MI, CVA, and Sepsis

This session will discuss the current recommendations for ER management of PE, MI, CVA and sepsis.
- When Pieces of the Puzzle are Missing, a Catastrophic Outcome can Occur - Mock Trial

This session incorporates the clinical and legal aspects of a patient who had changes in neurovascular assessments. There were many issues which occurred in the hospital. This case went to trial and a mock trial will be shared with AALNC attendees. We want the AALNC attendees to play a part as a juror.
This track will address many of the key principles of LNC practice in forensic evidence investigation, criminal law, and correctional system nursing care. Sessions include:

Participants of this session will expand their LNC knowledge base and learn to apply consulting skills to cases within the criminal court system.
