Eligibility Criteria

To renew certification, LNCCs must:

1. Have a current, unrestricted RN license
2. Have evidence of 2000 hours of legal nurse consulting practice within the 5 years prior to renewal, at the time of application
3. Complete one of the following:
   a. Pass the LNCC certification examination
   b. Submit 60 contact hours that meet the published criteria

Fees

The fee for certification renewal is similar to the fee for the exam and is noted on the current renewal application. The fee must be submitted at the time of application. Applications submitted after the deadline and before or on the extended deadline must include a late fee of $100
