Registration/Log In Information

I didn’t receive my registration confirmation. What do I do?

Your registration confirmation email is only sent once payment is received. If you submitted payment and have not received your confirmation email, please contact info@aalnc.org to resend your confirmation email.

How do I get to the Virtual site?

The Virtual site will be launched one (1) week prior to the AALNC Annual Forum start date, April 6, 2021. An email from AALNC headquarters will follow to ensure that this was received by all registered attendees. We recommend bookmarking the Virtual site for quick access each day. Please note, this is an internet-based program.

What if I want to cancel and receive a refund?

Due to the nature of the virtual format for AALNC Annual Forum 2021, refunds are not permitted. All purchases are final.

System Information

What platform will the Annual Forum be hosted on?

AALNC has decided to host the virtual AALNC Annual Forum 2021 on the Pathable platform, the use of this platform allows AALNC to continue to offer our attendees interactive education, networking and engagement opportunities with other attendee, speakers and exhibitors and sponsors.

What browsers are recommended?

To attend a virtual meeting on the Pathable platform, we strongly recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers. Due to limitations within Zoom, attendees in Safari, Firefox, or other browsers may have to dial in via telephone in order to hear the meeting audio. Telephone dial-in numbers are provided once you join the broadcast. You can view the system requirements for our virtual conference platform, Pathable, here.

In which time zone does the event take place?

All sessions will take place in Central Time. Please plan accordingly.

Education Session Information

Will there be a Q&A with the speakers after a session? How do I ask a question?

Some presentations will include a Q&A at the end of the session. However, it is recommended that you submit your questions through the Pathable chat, to ensure the presenter has an opportunity to address them directly.

How do I take notes and download them?

You can take notes directly on the site. There will be a button in each session that says "Notes," you will click on that button and type your notes in there, you will also be able to download all notes that you have taken directly on the site.

Will there be a chat function, and who is it visible to?

The chat box on the Pathable page will be visible to all.

Can I chat with a specific attendee or speaker?

Within the session chat, no. The Chat box within the session is available to everyone in that session. However, you can message attendees and speakers individually by searching for them within the “People” tab.

What if the speaker wasn’t able to get to my question before the session ended?

You can message attendees and speakers individually by searching for them within the “People” tab.

If I watch a recording of a session, will I be able to hear the Q&A?

If a presentation includes live Q&A, yes, you will be able to listen to the audio of the Q&A. It will also be included in the final recording.

Will the sessions be available on-demand after the live broadcast?

The AALNC Annual Forum is scheduled for April 13 – 16, 2021. During the broadcast dates, the meeting will be “live” with presentations broadcasted concurrently, similar to an in-person event. Then, starting on Monday, May 3, 2021, recordings of the live broadcasted sessions will be available to access. Annual Forum registrants can view the on-demand recordings through their existing Pathable profile until Friday, July 2, 2021.

Networking Information

Can I set up a meeting with an attendee or speaker?

Yes, there will be an opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with attendees and speakers, instructions on how to do this will be shared when you receive access to the platform. You may schedule private meetings between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm CST April 13 – 16, 2021, except during keynotes, concurrent breakouts, and networking events. Up to 32 people can be invited to a private meeting. An alert and an email notification will be sent to each person invited. Once the meeting invite is accepted, the meeting will automatically be added to your schedule.

Will there be any virtual networking experiences where I can meet other attendees?

Yes! On Thursday night, join us for Trivia Night complete with a live and engaging trivia host, you’ll get the full trivia experience…without having to leave your couch! Trivia night will run for about an hour and a half, and you’ll be added to a team with other AALNC attendees to work together to test your knowledge with fun and unique trivia questions.
