Legal nurse consultants are always striving to make an impact in the field. Let's take it one step further and push to make a difference in the local Louisville community! Thanks to the help of our generous AALNC leadership, the AALNC Annual Forum 2023 is providing an opportunity to give back to two local charities — Louisville Grows and Legal Aid Society.

Louisville Grows

An environmental nonprofit focused on restoring the urban tree canopy and fostering green and sustainable neighborhoods in Louisville. Their goal is to plant 1,000 trees each year, and they also work with community gardens throughout Louisville by providing assistance, education, and grants. Learn more.

Legal Aid Society

Established in 1921 to provide legal services to Louisville's low-income community, the Legal Aid Society has expanded to service 15 counties in Kentucky. Each year, they represent thousands of low-income and vulnerable individuals in need, assisting 4,333 unique clients in 2019. They have multiple initiatives and programs including work they do within the healthcare realm. Learn more.
